VBS THURSDAYS 2024

Join us for Lightstreet United Methodist Church’s Vacation Bible School! VBS Thursdays will be held Thursday nights from 6-8pm in the Lighthouse.  It’s an exciting time for us, and we want to share that excitement with friends in the community!!

Walk-ins welcome.  No pre-registration required.  

VBS Thursdays has 2 separate programs:

Þ Lightstreet United Methodist Church is taking children age 3 through grade 4 for a Jungle Journey Cruise through the Bible. Children will swing into fun, learn about some animals, and connect the Bible to life.  Bible stories, games, snacks, songs and crafts.  

Þ Middle and High School students are invited to a summer fun night on Thursdays. Every night includes making food and playing games, while learning just 3 simple rules that guide life in the Christian faith:

Do no harm.

Do good.

Stay in love with God.

The final night of VBS Thursdays, Clyde Peeling’s Reptiland is coming to Lightstreet with tropical animals, August 1, 6-8 pm.  This animal adventure is brought to you by the people of Lightstreet United Methodist Church and is free and open to the public.

Thank you for trusting us with your kids and their spiritual education.  Our volunteers have Pennsylvania clearances and United Methodist MinistrySafe training.  The VBS Thursdays staff are looking forward to seeing you in June!
