I was raised in Montgomery, PA and graduated from Montgomery Area High School before coming to Bloomsburg University. I received a B.A. in English and went on to work in multiple fields before surrendering to my call to ministry. I attended seminary at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C.
I served as a certified lay speaker/minister until becoming a local licensed pastor in 2013. I have served at Jersey Shore First UMC, Jersey Shore, Calvary UMC in Lawrenceville and now I am appointed to be here with you in Lightstreet.
My husband, Terry and I have been married for 28 years and we have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. In my down time, I enjoy rag quilting, gardening and college football.
Rev. Ronald French joined the staff of LUMC July 2018, as assistant to the pastor. Pastor Ron retired from full-time ministry, but is the Bible study teacher at LUMC. He serves on the board of directors of John Buck Memorial Community Food Bank near Orangeville.
Pastor Ron and his wife, Denise, are the parents of a daughter, Aubrey French. They have two grand-cats and a grand-dog.
Church office hours are flexible. Please contact the church office at your convenience as need arise. For immediate concerns, obtain Beth's cell phone number from the church voicemail.
Beth is excited to serve the people of LUMC. This has been her church home for 33 years.
